i should have known that even the love of knitting will not necessarily extinguish bad habits.

am, as always have been, an excellent starter, and a fabulously excellent buyer of supplies to start the starting.

finishing? not so high on the priority list. many many many ufo's remain at large in mi casa.

but tonight i got a wild hair to do some finish work. some. not all. not enough. the sweater i finished knitting quite a while back? am finally starting to work in the yarn tails. then i can sew it. note the sweater, on the left, lovingly spokeskittied by rex.

yarn tails are sewn in on the baby blanket at right, fetchingly spokeskittied by rocky. am a few inches away from done, and done will come quicker now that there will be only one more set of yarn tails to hide.

that, i have found, is the sucky part of knitting...the yarn tails and the finish work.

can i just pay someone to do that shit for me so i can just start more projects with reckless abandon?
